ABOUT THE CLUB OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
The Club Open Golf Championship is a Two Player Team Amateur Golf Competition, designed and produced by DCI Golf Marketing, for accomplished male golfers who want to compete for the coveted title of Club Champions. The Tournament is a "Double Play" format with a combined Better Ball and Alternate Shot competition. Club Membership is not a requirement for participation. This is Medal play with no handicaps.
Individual Club Open Championships:
• Limited to 65 Teams.
• Minimum 15 teams required to stage event
• One Round - 18 Hole single day event
• Holes 1- 9 Better Ball.
• Holes 10 - 18 Alternate Shot.
• All participants must carry a handicap of 12 or better
• Club membership is optional and NOT a requirement to participate.
• Winners are determined by Lowest Medal Team Score.
* All Winners will be invited to represent their Host Club and participate in the State Championship
State Club Open Championship:
• Limited to 72 teams who have won their qualifying Club Open Championship
• Minimum 25 teams required to stage event
• One Round - 18 Hole, single day event.
• Holes 1 - 9 Better Ball.
• Holes 10 - 18 Alternate Shot.
• Second Round- Alternate Shot.
• Winners are determined by Lowest Medal Team Score.
• Play will be governed by USGA and local rules.

PARTICIPANTS
The Final Club Championship Tournament is open to all amateur male golfers eighteen years of age and older, who have won their respective club championships within the calendar year. All Entries will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. In order to fill the field, the Tournament will accept teams/players on a waiting list basis, in the event a team is unable to participate. A maximum of 72 Club Teams will be selected to participate. A minimum of 25 Club Teams are required to stage the event. The Tournament is open to all Club Champions.
COMPETING FORMAT
FORMAT: Two Player Better Ball
• Two Player Teams
• Each player hits his own ball on each hole to complete the hole.
• Each Player is required to record their individual score.
• Players record the best individual score as the team score for the hole.
• The lowest or best score of the two player team counts as the team score.
• All other USGA and Local Rules apply.
FORMAT: Two Player Alternate Shot (also referred to as Twosomes)
• Two Player Teams
• Each team will select one player to tee off on odd-numbered holes, while the other tees off on even-numbered holes.
• The players play only one ball, alternating shots until the hole is completed.
• Record the team's score.
• All other USGA and local rules apply
• Two Player Teams

ENTRY FEES
An Entry Fee must be paid by each Team and include the following:
• Range Balls, Cart & Greens Fee
• Championship Round
• Awards Luncheon
• Custom Logo Crystal Trophies/Awards for Winners
• Complimentary Round of Golf for Winners
• Player Pack for Each Player
• Optional Practice Round for Each Player at Discounted Rate
• Bounce Back for Each Player at Discounted Rate
• Taylormade or Nike Prize Vouchers for Winners & Runners-up (based on player participation)
Entries fees can be paid by check or credit card. DCI charges a $35 fee for any returned checks or credit card denial. Due to golf course committments & requirements, Entry Fees are non-refundable after the registration deadline.
PRACTICE ROUND
Where applicable, Practice Rounds will be available one week in advance of the Tournament. All Teams/Players who register by the Deadline will receive a Practice Round Voucher at a Discounted Rate. Each player must call the Pro Shop and schedule and pay for their Practice Round. Players must present their Practice Round Voucher when making payment in order to receive the discounted rate. Practice Rounds will be scheduled by the golf course based on course availability.
OPTIONAL SIDE GAMES & CONTESTS
At most Club Open Golf Championship tournaments there will be an OPTIONAL Gross Skins Game, Putting Contest and/or Closest-to-the-Pin Contest. These games/contests will be conducted simultaneously with the tournament competition.
Optional Gross Skins Game: A skin will be awarded to the player who has the lowest score below par on a hole when compared to scores from all others players that entered the skins contest. Any ties will result in no skin being awarded on that hole. The total number of skins awarded for all 18 holes will then be divided into the net collected funds to determine the dollar prize of each skin.
Optional Closest-to-the-Pin: Winner of the Closest-to-the-Pin will receive a pair Nike Golf shoes.
Optional Putting Contest: Winner of the Putting Contest will receive an Izzo Swami Golf GPS Watch.
Optional Closest-to-the-Pin: Winner of the Closest-to-the-Pin will receive a pair Nike Golf shoes.
Optional Putting Contest: Winner of the Putting Contest will receive an Izzo Swami Golf GPS Watch.
WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY:
If you withdraw up to Ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date of the Tournament, you may receive a refund, minus a $25.00 processing fee. No Refunds will be granted, for any reason whatsoever, on withdrawals or cancellations, after registration deadline. In addition, no refunds will be granted for "no shows" or disqualifications.
